University Cities Research Grants

Funded by the Knight Foundation

  • Research grants are available to graduate students, professors or undergraduates eager to explore a topic within the idea of University Cities.
  • Grants can range from $2,500 to the full $10,000.
  • Because of the small size of the grant or grants, we do not anticipate paying for university overhead.
  • By December 1, 2017, submit a 300-word research proposal along with your cv to Scott Shapiro at sshapiro@lexingtonky.gov. A panel will choose one undergraduate and one graduate research project by December 31.
